The reason I ran for Parkinson's was because:-
One in 500 have Parkinson's and that represents about 120,000 in the UK.
The main symptoms of Parkinson's is tremor, rigidity and slowness of movement.
There is currently no cure For Parkinson's and we don't yet know why people get the disease.
My grandmother (my dad's mum) has had the disease for some 25-30 years now so this has given me extra motivation to support the charity.
